Remember the class bells you would anxiously await 6 times each day? On a visit to a government school in China, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted at the end of a class by Mozart instead of a bell toll! This is quite a common practice around China, and it’s brilliant! It’s inspiring and soothing, and you can tell time because the music is different for each period.
