Islamabad, 4th August 2023 – Knowledge Platform, a leading ed-tech company in Pakistan, and ZONG, Pakistan’s largest telecom network, have officially signed a groundbreaking contract, forging a dynamic partnership to transform 60 schools and impact the lives of 3,000 students across Pakistan. This collaboration aims to enhance academic quality and foster a 21st century learning mindset among students.
As part of ZONG’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the project seeks to provide quality education to underserved students in remote and underprivileged areas along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The initiative will cover schools from Sost, Gilgit Baltistan to Gwadar, Balochistan in all provinces of Pakistan.
At the core of this project lies the deployment of Knowledge Platform’s state-of-the-art digital content, which includes a diverse array of educational resources covering English, Mathematics and Science for middle and secondary grades. These digital materials have been designed to align with the national curriculum, offering a dynamic and engaging learning experience for both students and educators.
To ensure the effectiveness of these learning resources, the project will incorporate comprehensive assessments that will contribute towards insights into individual student progress and learning gaps. These data-driven evaluations will enable teachers tailor their instructional approaches to meet the specific needs of each learner, promoting personalised learning and academic success.
In addition to videos, interactive activities, and assessments, the initiative will integrate innovative learning games into the classroom environment. These gamified educational experiences are designed to promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity while making the learning process enjoyable and interactive for students.
Recognising the vital role of educators in nurturing young minds, Knowledge Platform will also conduct comprehensive teacher training programs. These specialized workshops will equip teachers with the latest teaching methodologies, and strategies for integrating technology effectively into their lessons. By empowering teachers with these new skills, the project aims to elevate the overall quality of education and foster a strong teacher-student relationship built on mutual understanding and trust.
The contract signing ceremony took place at ZONG’s head office in Islamabad, where ZONG was represented by Mr. Junaid Shafqat (Senior Manager Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility), Ms. Humaira Javed, and Ahsan Hassan.
