Knowledge Platform Wins at SDGs Innovative Financing Challenge for Activating Environmental Literacy across Pakistan

Karachi, Pakistan – June 27, 2024Knowledge Platform is proud to announce its recognition as one of the top four winners at the SDGs Innovative Financing Challenge, held at IBA Karachi. This prestigious event, hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurial Development IBA CED in partnership with UNDP Pakistan and JS Bank, was a monumental step towards fostering sustainable and climate-resilient businesses in Pakistan.
In celebration of innovation and sustainability, the SDGs Innovative Financing Challenge coincided with the UN MSMEs Day, highlighting our collective commitment to supporting SMEs that address critical social and environmental challenges. Out of over 200 applications, 30 pioneering projects were shortlisted and provided with capacity-building workshops, culminating in a thrilling finale where the top 10 finalists showcased their groundbreaking solutions.
Knowledge Platform was recognized for its innovative learning games designed to massively increase environmental literacy in Pakistan. These games are part of our ongoing effort to integrate sustainability into education, empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to address environmental issues effectively.
As one of the top four winners, Knowledge Platform will receive a grant of 10 million PKR from UNDP Pakistan. This funding will propel our impactful solutions forward, enabling us to expand our reach and further our mission of promoting environmental education through interactive and engaging digital content.
